Greek Armour, Spartan Armor, Greek Armor, Greek Cuirass, and Greek Muscle Armour
When it comes to Greek armour, bronze is king. It was the dominant material of the era, and it made for the most solid armor possible in many cases. Of course, bronze was not the only metal used, though, so Dark Knight Armoury caters to a wide array of different materials. This way, any Greek enthusiast or reenactor can find the exact breastplate, greave, bracer, or tasset that they need to build their preferred Greek warrior or hoplite look. The basic components of a Greek set of armour were four pieces - the breastplate, the back plate, the bracers, and the greaves. With these four pieces, any Greek hoplite or soldier was considered to be fully armored. Much of our Greek armour here at Dark Knight Armoury is made in steel and finished in bronze, although some is made from solid bronze metal or leather, to offer a different weight, look, and feel. Some breastplates are made in solid, traditional designs, while others are made to resemble sculpted and heavily muscled chests, mimicking the muscle armour that ancient Greeks wore to appear more heroic, like the figures in their myths and stories. Whether you are aiming for a Spartan style, a Macedonian look, or a Trojan appearance, you can bet that the armour you will find here at Dark Knight Armoury is perfect for putting together the ideal look of a Greek warrior from all those ages ago.
