Gladiator
In 2000, Ridley Scott directed an epic historical drama that starred Russell Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix, among others, in order to recreate the look and feel of the ancient Roman Empire. The film revolves around Russell Crowe's character, the General Maximus Decimus Meridius, whose family is violently ripped from him by the Emperor's brutal son. Maximus eventually finds himself as a slave and a gladiator, although through these means he becomes a symbol for the people, one that eventually attempts to right the wrongs done to Rome by its cruel, young Emperor. Throughout the film, many different weapons are seen, and at Dark Knight Armoury, we offer a selection of these weapons, allowing you to own your favorite weapons from your favorite characters.
