Modeled after the famous pictorial maxim of the three wise monkeys, the Speak No Evil Greenman Candleholder is one of three figures who mimic this famous image. This greenman represents speak no evil, and thus, is covering his mouth. This classic depiction of a greenman consists of a lone stump that possesses a man's face. Its beard is made up of thin branches and twigs, and its mustache cannot be seen. Roots tipped with leaves make up its arms, which are lifted so that the leaves cover this greenman's mouth. The top of the stump is hollow and acts as a receptacle where a candle can be placed and safely burned. This attractive item is made entirely from cold cast resin, which has been hand painted to replicate natural colors, primarily a woody brown and a leaf green.
