Dismembered Zombie Claws

The Dismembered Zombie Claws are something of an anomaly. Technically speaking, because humans don't have claws, zombies shouldn't have them, either. But because zombies come from a variety of sources, some zombies can develop these natural weapons. And woe to the survivor who encounters a zombie that has managed to develop a weapon as effective as this. Luckily, these zombie claws have been removed from their owner. The hands are startlingly pale, while the web of veins can be seen just under the skin. The hands were removed at the wrist, leaving the stumps red with blood and tissue, but otherwise rather smooth, as though chopped off with a sharp blade. The fingertips end in darkly colored claws that have grown out in place of the fingernails, changing from dark purple to flesh tones at the tip of the finger. These hands are made from a flexible material similar to rubber, which makes them moderately durable as well as slightly pliable. If anything, the Dismembered Zombie Claws are an example of how zombies can gradually become more efficient and deadly, further supporting why survivors should be wary and cautious of every battle they enter with the undead. In a pinch, they might also serve as weapons, thanks to the fingers being stiff.
