Nike, a Greek goddess, was the personification of victory, embodying concepts like strength and speed. She is depicted here in the Bronze Winged Victory Statue as a young and utterly carefree looking woman with her arms opened into the air. She stands on a simple round platform that is designed to look like a simple outcropping of rock. The goddess wears a simple short skirt decorated with hues of metallic blue, as well as cloth coverings that wrap vertically from her shoulders to her waist. Her hair is wildly tossed about while her arms are spread open to the sky, one holding a torch and the other holding a green, leafy sprig. Behind her back are stretched out two glorious wings, also touched with subtle, blue hints. This beautiful statue is made from quality cold cast resin, which has been attractively hand painted to feature the metallic hue of cast bronze.
