Scrooge visits many places with Christmas Present like the one in Visiting The Miner’s Home from Department 56 Dickens A Christmas Carol. Made from porcelain, this well-detailed set includes two figurines. The first figurine depicts Scrooge with the Spirit of Christmas Present. Scrooge wears his red sleeping robe while the Spirit wears a long green robe. The Spirit also wears a green wreath around the top of his head. He holds a torch in his left hand. They stand on a snowy white base.
The second figurine depicts the miners house. The house has a grey wattle and daub design with a brick foundation. A set of steps leads up to the front door. A sign hangs down from the upper story. It reads Room to Let. There are multiple windows on the building. The windows light up with a 120V bulb that uses a power cord. Visiting The Miner’s Home makes a great addition to any little Christmas Carol display or wintry village scene. It also looks wonderful on display by itself. This hand-painted miniature figurine set is made by Department 56.
