Spartan warriors are not caught off guard. They are prepared for any attack. That is why they carry the Greek Xiphos Dagger with them. Made from EN45 high carbon steel, this dagger has a double-edged blade. The blade has a leaf-like shape. It widens towards the tip and then curves into the point. On the other end, the blade has a wide ricasso. The ricasso acts as a crossguard.
Next, the dagger has a wooden hilt. Rivets hold the wood in place, attached to the blades thick tang. The hilt has a cylindrical pommel. The pommel has a steel plate on the end. Finally, this dagger comes with a wooden scabbard. Red leather tightly covers the scabbard. It has a wooden chape and locket. The locket is wide to match the swords ricasso. Also, the scabbard has brass rings attached with yellow ties to the scabbard. These four rings allow the scabbard to attach to a belt, not included. You can bring this functional dagger with you to your next reenactment. It also looks great on display. Add it to a Greek or weapon collection.
