This lovely gown is just as suited for attracting dashing young swordsmen as it is for accenting a queens regal beauty. This Miladys Gown possesses all the rich detailing that a woman would want and expect out of a dress fit for old world nobility. This beautiful gown is a two-piece ensemble that consists of a bodice-style top and a full-length flowing skirt. The skirt attaches to the bodice with buttons and straps, making the length of the skirt adjustable.
The bodice is made in rich blue brocade that features elegant gold and silver decorations that are embroidered into the fabric, while also featuring full-length sleeves. Boning in the front adds structure and shape to the torso.
The upper arm of the sleeve is puffy and made from shimmering blue fabric, while also featuring sewn-in silver strands for added decoration. The lower sleeves are fitted to the arm and echo the look of the bodice in blue fabric with embroidered decoration. The cuffs secure with hooks and eyes.
Silver lining trims the neckline, and is perfectly accented by a large clear gem at its center. The skirt complements the attire perfectly with this shimmering royal blue coloration. The bodice features a lace-up back, which allows for some level of adjustment that can be made in the four different sizes. Please note that it is pictured above with a period Farthingale (#100994), which flares the skirt out a bit. There are dozens of great uses for this Miladys Gown, ranging from a lovely princess gown to a regal queens attire, to a noble womans court dress, making it a solid addition to any womans renaissance era wardrobe.
