Inspired by the Geas, or oath, taken by ancient Irish warriors, the Oath Seeker Irish Sword with Scabbard features a 14th century design. Made from 5160 high-carbon steel, this functional sword features a double-edged blade in a cut-and-thrust style. You can choose between a sharpened and unsharpened blade. It has a Rockwell hardness of 60 at the edges and 48-50 at the core. The blade features a hollow-ground cross-section. The Darksword Armory logo adorns the base of the blade.
Next, the Oath Seeker Irish Sword continues with a curved crossguard. The arms of the crossguard curve towards the blade. The crossguard also has a point in the middle that faces towards the blade. Then, the hilt has a leather-wrapped grip. There are crisscrossing strips of leather that wrap around the green grip. The hilt ends with an open ring-shaped pommel. It is a peened pommel. Finally, this sword comes with a wooden scabbard. Green leather wraps around the scabbard. This functional sword makes a wonderful addition to any armoury or weaponry collection. You can bring the Oath Seeker Irish Sword to a historical reenactment.
