Dark wood buttons along the exterior sides secure the boots. The other side with the buttonholes wraps around the calf to meet the buttons. The leather straps that secure the buttons to the boots are visible, reinforcing their handcrafted look.

Next, these black Norse boots have rubber soles for extra traction and more secure footing wherever your adventures take you. The rubber soles are black and have a very slight heel. Overall, these medieval leather boots cover halfway up the calf on most.
