This 1860 Black Handle Cavalry Saber is based on the Model 1860 Light Cavalry Saber. First used on both sides of the American Civil War, there were three different versions made, for officers, enlisted men, and ceremonial use. The stainless steel blade of this recreation sword displays a slight upward curve. The brass guard and pommel provide stunning accents to the military blade. The grip is wrapped in black leather then secured with wire wrapping, providing a comfortable hold. The polished steel scabbard has two carrying rings for a secure attachment to your belt or baldric. Whether you are acting at a living history event or you want a classic blade for your sword collection, the 1860 Black Handle Cavalry Saber is a stunning choice.
